What is the DJAA National Conference?
The DJAA National Conference is an opportunity for DJs & MCs to improve their performance and business skills. With a diverse range of topics presented by guest speakers, industry professionals, local & international DJs & MCs coupled with awesome networking opportunities, it is becoming the MUST ATTEND annual event for DJs & MCs wishing to continually improve.
The 2 Day National Conference is held every year, in different locations across Australia and anyone can attend! No matter what stage you are at in your DJ or MC career, this is the Conference for you. If you want to learn, grow individually and take your business to the next level, you should attend the Conference.

If you are a beginner or seasoned professional DJ and/or MC, this is the Conference for you. Essentially, anyone who wants to learn, grow individually and take their business to the next level, should attend the Conference. The DJAA National Conference is held annually in August and currently attracts 50+ DJs from around Australia & New Zealand each year who are at different stages of their career path. It is a competition free environment allowing you to network and learn from others presenting and leading discussions on a variety of relevant topics.

Rydges South Park Adelaide, the Conference host Hotel, is situated in the vibrant south-west quarter of Adelaide’s central business district and has 98 well-appointed accommodation rooms.
The DJAA has negotiated a special rate for 2018 National Conference attendees. To secure this rate head to the special DJAA National Conference Accomodation Booking Page at https://www.rydges.com/private-page/dj-alliance-australasia-national-conference/ .
The negotiated rate of $129 per room includes breakfast daily for one. If there are two persons sharing in a room, an additional $20 per night will be added for breakfast for the extra person.
There has been an initial block of 15 rooms reserved for the DJAA. Should you try to book and are advised that the allocation has been exhausted, please notify The Secretary – firstname.lastname@example.org and a further allocation will be requested, providing there are still rooms available. In order to avoid disappointment, it is advised that you book early (no payment is processed until you check in), so reserve your room now!
There are alternate accommodation options, however the closest to Rydges South Park is two and a half blocks away.
Rydges South Park is about 20 minutes drive or taxi ride from Adelaide domestic and international airport.
From Adelaide Airport, turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive and travel east until you reach West Terrace. Turn right onto West Terrace, then left onto South Terrace. Rydges South Park is on the corner of West and South Terraces.
Taxi is a convenient way to get to and from the airport. There is a designated taxi rank located at the left of the pedestrian plaza as you walk out of the terminal. Concierges provide a safe environment and allocate taxis to passengers. They can also organise five-seaters and maxi taxis for larger groups or station wagons for large amounts of baggage. There is a $2 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport.
BY SHUTTLE BUS
Northern Flyer runs a door to door Airport City Shuttle service to the CBD and Hotels. Bookings are not required. On arrival please make your way to the Information and Tourism Bookings Booth located on the ground floor of the terminal in a central location. The friendly staff will help you with your booking and inform you of the next shuttle time. Service runs appoximately every half hour. http://www.northernflyer.com.au/airport-to-cbd/ .
BY ADELAIDE METRO BUS
If you wish to use public transport to/ from Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Metro offers an express double decker bus service called JetExpress between the airport and the city. There will be some walking required to get to Rydges South Park.
Rydges South Park Adelaide offers $10.00 car parking (subject to availability). Entrance is on South Terrace. Please press the buzzer located at the South Terrace entrance, park your car and then see Reception on check in.

The DJ Alliance Australasia is a committee of passionate DJ & MC Entertainers from across Australia and New Zealand who have joined forces to create a quality benchmark of minimum standards for their industry. Becoming a member of the DJ Alliance of Australasia not only gets you accredited but links you with like-minded professionals across Australia, New Zealand and worldwide. The Alliance is all about furthering the Association and the industry as a whole.
The process is designed to help grow your business and give you opportunities to step up along the way. Most importantly the DJAA sets out minimum standards you must meet to proceed to the next level.
The DJAA provides peace of mind through assurance that DJAA Members have met and continuously maintain certain minimum standards. All Members adhere to a Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and Accredited Members also go through a number of reference checks before being approved for membership.
